Kimmel fights from back to front...

Todd Kimmel took his Longs Bakery/Trucks In Action/Oakley/Indy Race Parts/DRC Chassis to another strong run at Lincoln Park Speedway.  The night started out bad with a DNF in the heat race after a nasty bicycle off the turn one banking.  "We just had the car a little tight," stated Kimmel.  Todd would start tenth in the B main before working his way to second.  After a late race yellow Kimmel was able to take the lead on the restart exiting turn two.  Come feature time Todd found himself starting in the back once again, but that was not going to stop Todd tonight.  Starting sixteenth spot Kimmel quickly moved his way forward working above the tall cushion.  "I knew I did not have much to lose.  We were starting so far back I had to try something.  Turns out it paid off.  No one was there," explained Kimmel.  He would end up with a great third place finish.  Crossing the lane with a flat right rear tire.

Busy Weekend Ends Bad...

Young Todd Kimmel took his Longs Bakery/Trucks In Action/Oakley/Indy Race Parts/DRC Chassis to another strong run at Lincoln Park Speedway.  Leading half the race once again to get beat in the later stages of the race by a dominant Bobby Stines and defending champion Billy Puterbaugh.  "Once again we had another great night and had to watch it slip away.  We have one race left at LPS and it would be nice to close the season with a win," said Kimmel.

Sunday night Todd took his sprinter to the Kokomo Speedway.  The night started out bad as Todd qualified near the back and was not able to transfer out of the heat race.  In the bmain Kimmel was starting to move forward when he mad contact with another driver and that sent Kimmel airborne ending his night.
